About SnaKey
The idea for the SnaKey first came about in 2010 and was designed by Anna Lisa Marshall
“A handbag typically stretched to breaking point: wallet, phone, car keys, inhaler, paracetamol, hay fever drops, lip balm, hairbrush, Rescue Remedy, dead light bulbs, spare football studs and spanner, dog poo bags and, somewhere at the bottom, house keys. Looping a dog lead round one of the handles on my beautiful leather tote, I attached the keys onto the carabiner clip at the end. This meant that, at the end of the day, with an armful of bags, a dog and 3 sons trying to escape, I could quickly access my keys to open the door without having to put my bag down and, more importantly, they remained in my bag. I even got into the habit of attaching my car keys to the clip when I arrived at my destination so that I could easily find them when it was time to leave. A game changer but it seemed a shame to carry such an elegant bag with such a shoddy accessory and there’s nothing elegant about rummaging… so I designed the SnaKey.
The new option of an additional SnaKey phone tab accessory means that you can use your SnaKey for phone or keys. (I don’t advise using one for both.) Safely clipped to your SnaKey, you can find your phone easily and, because it remains attached to your bag, it also guards against phone theft while in use.
What started as a pop-up at markets and charity fairs has now developed into an online business. I am very fortunate to work with a UK manufacturer who combines traditional leather craft skills with modern technology and great attention to detail.”
SnaKey online means more people than ever can take control of their handbag chaos - beautifully.
